Short Films
in the Nation’s Capital
from around the world
We are looking for documentaries that provoke and inspire change. We want to motivate our audiences to react to the many social issues happening around the world.
Storytelling is at the heart of the human experience . The short narrative can be any genre that makes an impact on its audience. We are looking for short films that create a social impact on the human experience, no matter what that experience may be.
Submissions are open from Decemeber 1st, 2018 to April 2019 with Earlybird, Regular, Late and Extended Deadlines. For the most up to date info, make sure to check us out on FilmFreeway.
We are digital media professionals, socially-minded filmmakers, philanthropists, change makers and social entrepreneurs. Our goal is to bring like-minded individuals together to bring awareness on several social justice issues by showcasing short narrative and documentary works and creating change by inviting non-profit organizations that correlate with some of the major topics of the films.
